How often do I need to attend?
I see clients once a week for open ended counselling or short term counselling. We can discuss which is best for you at our first meeting. Not everyone is the same, some people find just a few sessions help while others prefer longer term therapy to work on particular problems.
How long is the session?
All sessions are for 50 minutes
What happens in a session?
Together we will focus on what you want and explore how you feel. You can safely talk about fears and problems in a safe and confidential environment.
By understanding yourself more, it may be possible for you to find other ways of coping with difficult and painful situations. This may help you to make different choices in your life.
You may wish to discuss specific problems which we can explore together. Some life events present difficulties which may suggest longer term counselling but this is your choice.
